The City of Livonia is responsible for updating its Comprehensive Plan every five years, as required by the Michigan Planning Enabling Act, Act 33 of 2008, as amended. With significant public input, the finished product will position Livonia for continued success and confirm the aspirations of residents and businesses.

To facilitate the process, a 16-member Comprehensive Master Plan Steering Committee is leading the effort, along with City staff. Their work will be strengthened by the involvement of community members throughout 2018.

The public will have multiple opportunities to offer ideas and engage with the steering committee, administration and elected officials through various methods. Those community engagement opportunities will include online surveys, public meetings, presentations, and workshops.

We are enthusiastic about LIVONIA VISION 21 and eager to see the positive impacts it will have on the residents and businesses of the Livonia community. Thank you for your support and input during the planning process !
